Sustainability at BreakFree Moroccan

At BreakFree Moroccan, sustainability is a fundamental aspect of our character. We believe in embedding sustainable practices into every aspect of our daily operations, recognising that our commitment to the environment is an ongoing journey. Here are some of the initiatives we've implemented to date

Dry Amenities

We're proud to announce our ongoing commitment to reducing single-use plastics in our guest rooms. As part of this initiative, we've taken a significant step by eliminating single-use dry amenities like toothbrushes, combs, and shower caps. This bold move towards a plastic-free environment reflects our dedication to preserving our planet for future generations.

Large Amenities

Continuing our efforts, we've proactively transitioned to large-format amenities, replacing single-use plastic common amenities with eco-friendly pump dispensers throughout the hotel. By ditching single-use plastic bottles, we're significantly reducing waste generated by our operations. This commitment aligns with our dedication to environmental stewardship and underscores our ongoing efforts to enhance sustainability across all facets of our hotel.

Recycling

At BreakFree Moroccan, all hotel waste is separated into cardboard, plastic, and general waste, minimising our impact on landfill.  In addition, we have taken a number of steps to further reduce water and embrace a circular system such as removing daily servicing.

Acknowledgement of Country

Breakfree Moroccan pay our respects to the traditional owners of the land on which we operate, the Kombumerri people, and extend our respect to their Elders past and present.

Accessibility

At Breakfree Moroccan, we are committed to welcoming everyone. We are currently working together with the Body Corporate to find a way to build a ramp leading down to our outdoor pool area.

For guests with mobility challenges, all of our apartments have a walk-in showers and spacious layouts to ensure ease of access. In addition, service animals are always welcome.
